Members of the Family Practice Group have considerable experience in advising and representing parties to ancillary relief applications in the County Court, Principal Registry of the Family Division and the High Court. In addition, they are experienced in advising and representing parties in related applications, for example under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989, Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 and Family Law Act 1996.

Q v Q (Ancillary Relief: Periodical Payments) [2005] EWHC 402 (Fam) - one of the first reported decisions after Parlour/McFarlane that considered the level of maintenance in cases where the income is in excess of £1m pa.
Stack v Dowden (HL) - important decision considering cohabitants' beneficial interest in jointly held property. Chambers held a seminar on this case on 17 May 2007.
