Spenser Hilliard has a common law practice centring on business disputes and matrimonial finance. He also has a specialist knowledge of liquor licensing and lectures on the effect of the Licensing Act.

Mediation is now an increasing part of Spenser’s practice and he has established a reputation as a mediator with special skills in gaining rapport with the parties and in breaking deadlock. His skills in breaking deadlock in mediations are much in demand and he lectures internationally on the subject.

Spenser has an in-depth knowledge of business which is greatly valued by clients in his dispute resolution practice.

Spenser was formerly non-executive director of a large London NHS Trust where he was instrumental in developing risk management procedures for personal injury claims.
